I've started another costume in my small Fantasy series. I was inspired by a cloth elf doll costume I made many years ago, which is more or less along the lines of an embellished, 'traditional' Robin Hood costume. But now that I'm part way along I'm starting to question if I've made a big mistake. How do I transform a 'traditional Errol Flyn, Men in Tights' Robin Hood costume into something that would fit into Lord of the Rings? I know stuff often looks completely wrong when I'm partway through, so I've decided to trust my instincts and push on. I'm hoping with the addition of lots of embellishment and accessories, that it will still work out. If not, then someone will have a nice Hallowe'en costume come October.

I think that it is necessary to put to him accessories before asking itself the questions the Lord of Rings is very magic all the same, you would have to see again the first episode of Hobbit, there is a magician of wood with his sled, maybe which it would inspire in you for accessories too is dressed in green.

Not to worry! He'll be great!! Once he's not wearing jeans, he'll fit right in :o) I love his hat!

He probably will be fine. It's just right now all I see is that plain stiff tunic. It could probably use some wetting and staining. The outfit has brown tights and boots, a cloak, belt, bow and arrows, but I'm not switching him over to the Fantasy side until later next week - after his birthday.

Yes, but you've probably already seen it - it's the last one in the Cake Tutorial. I already have Elin's cake done too, even though her birthday isn't until the end of August.

Well obviously I think Robin Hood is the BEST. Comments are closed.
