My New Dolls

10/22/2016

This week I picked up the two Iplehouse dolls from Charie, that I purchased last spring during Iplehouse's special sale on dolls it was discontinuing. They arrived in June, but with the terrible weather we had all summer, she couldn't paint them until now. They are both beautiful!

First is BID Chloe. She is Special Real Skin

Then there's JID "I" (who desperately needs a better name). She is Glow Real Skin

I want a name that starts with "I", and it's a toss up right now between 'Iris' and 'Isis'

I don't have any spare JID-size clothes, other than the native regalia, so put her in one of
the dark fairy costumes I'm working on. I like it on her, and think she may just keep it.

I'm in the process of cutting out the six sets of wings, and am hoping at least
one set will be ready in time for some Halloween pictures. But I don't know.

They are both beautifil!
I like Iris for the JID.
When you said her name was "I" and I saw the picture I thought I would name her Iris, before you even suggested it.

That's what I'm thinking.

I want to say I love your dolls and especially the clothes you sew for them. They are really beautiful. For a name I would prefer Irina.
Greetings from the Netherlands.

Iplehouse makes a KID Irene, so that would be too confusing.

They are both beautiful. How do you like glow special real skin with face up on? I ordered Bella in glow SRS, so I am really curious how it will look like in real life. I/Iris looks really lovely on your photos.

She was the first JID I've ordered since Iplehouse changed their resin formula a few years back, so I got her in Glow so she would match my older dolls - and she does. She has the 'yellowish' undertones like the old formula that had French resin in it, and doesn't have the pinky undertones of the current regular real skin.

Oh, that's great to hear. Thank you for info :).

Iris/Isis is a beauty. If i had to decide between this two names, i would name her Iris.
Chloe is very cute too

I like the 'mysteriousness' of Isis, but Iplehouse already has another doll called 'Isis', so to avoid confusion I'm thinking I'll probably go with Iris.

Huge congratulations! These girls will fit perfectly into your collection. And I do hope that Iris gets to keep one of the fairy costumes.

She definitely will! I don't like my dolls standing around naked - or remaining in their boxes - and these fairy costumes are nicely far enough along that she can already wear the main part of it. I just wish I could get some wings done this week, because it would be nice to take some pictures with the little pumpkins I bought last week.

Congrats! They are a great addition to your family. How about Ilvie?
