as it seems much more suitable for an exotic Fairy Queen
I loved my girl in the red and purple fairy ensemble, but decided she still needed something more to set her apart, and give her a truly regal air. So I made her a cloak out of my last black nylon tricot. It snaps onto the shoulders of her bodice. Now I'm thinking I may have to change her name to Isis after all, as it seems much more suitable for an exotic Fairy Queen I can't wait to take the outdoor photos of the three JID girls in their Fairy costumes, but the weather just isn't cooperating. It's freezing rain out there right now, and it's supposed to switch to just plain old rain as the temperature goes up. Then it's at least another two days of rain. So maybe after that? I just hope the last few leaves manage to cling to the bushes until then.

I love the addition of the black cloak....perfect. I am so pleased that you kept one outfit for your girls too.

I'm terrible at naming anything, and usually go with whatever the company names a sculpt. But 'I' just isn't a name. She's going to be either 'Iris' or 'Isis'. I guess only time will tell whichever one sticks.

Naming my dolls is a big part of my doll play and I love getting it *right*

That's what I was thinking too. If it had been a lighter blue and purple costume, then 'Iris' would have been perfect. But this red, purple, and black is very dramatic.

The outfit was amazing before, but with the cloak adition is simply perfect.
