Today, June 29th, is also 'International Mud Day', and what could be more fun for little boys than jumping in puddles and getting covered up to the ears in mud? Like at a construction site after a rain storm....

Actually I don't mind at all. I let my kids play in the mud all the time when they were little.

Ha, ha! My kids loved playing in the mud, too! I hope YOU didn't get stuck or too dirty when taking these.

We went prepared with bottles of water, soapy cloths, and towels, knowing I'd need to wash my hands a lot during the process. The puddle was at the edge of some pavement, so I didn't have to step into the actual mud. I will be posting Behind the Scenes from this photos shoot at some point.

My little hero :o) I love these photos! I also love the lengths you'll go to for good photos!

Thanks. Yes he has real dirt on his face. I wasn't intending for it to go on his face and arms, but it kind of got away from me. And once it was all over him, I figured I might as well take photos before cleaning it off.
