before they are gone again for another year.
I liked the pictures of Asa and the fairies in the flowers so much that I wanted to take them back for a few more photos. It had been cloudy all day - perfect for doll photos - but in the evening the sky was mostly clear. However, hazy late day sun is fine for doll photography too. The blue flowers were even nicer than they had been two days before, and this time I brought along a different 'poke-in-the-ground' stand for Asa so she wouldn't sink so low amongst the flowers.... Bonnie was picking flowers for her Queen.... ..while Elin played with the Queen's mask.... Flowers for the Fairy Queen.... The flowers are beautiful, and smell wonderful..... Today I need to decide if there's anyone else I want to photograph in the scillas
before they are gone again for another year.

Thanks! I thought my Asa could pass for a Fairy Queen. She rarely gets out because she doesn't work many places, or with many of my other dolls, but I thought this was the perfect setting for her.

I love the lighting, and the blending of her gown with the flowers as if she was meant to be part of the field. Just so beautiful.

I was a bit disappointed when the sun kept coming out between the clouds, and then it totally cleared on the horizon, but the late day sunshine actually made for some wonderful lighting.

So beautiful. Asa looks as if she truly belongs there amongst the matching colours of the flowers.
