We experienced an ice storm over the past weekend. First freezing rain, then a couple of centimetres of ice pellets, then more freezing rain. I figured (hoped) it would be winter's 'final hurrah' this spring, and having just finished a bunch of mushroom clumps, I had a photo idea.... "I don't suppose there's room under there for me??" "I'm really sick of this ice and snow!!" "Sorry, there's not enough room..." "I didn't think so..." "Maybe you can find some other place dry and warm?"

Poor Winston, he is just too big. I bet he will find shelter somewhere else.

Maybe Winston could curl up by the fireplace in the house? :)

He didn't get wet. Yes, he's made of fabric, but it's heavily 'dyed' with acrylic paint, so doesn't absorb moisture in the first place. Plus standing on snow isn't like submerging him in water.

What a cool little group (literally and figuratively)!
