Winston didn't need much convincing...
Picture
...and decided to go with them...
Picture
I'm so glad that you decided to come!!"
Picture
Picture
"Me too!!"
Picture
Winston turned to wave...
Picture
"Good-bye!!"
Picture
"I'll be back for your wedding!!"
Picture
Then Baron noticed Phairby...
Picture
"What?  You aren't going with them?"
Picture
"No. I have a few places I need to go first.  Fairy Godmother duties, you know. I'm going to join them later."
Picture
And the two of them watched the little group leave...
Picture
...as they headed out....
Picture
..across the castle ramparts...
Picture
...and through the castle gates.

This is a really charming sequence of photos!
The ruins gardens are such a great location to have nearby for your stories.

In the photo where Winston turns to wave goodbye, he looks likes he's smiling from ear to ear.

Thanks. I needed something in between the two dinner scenes and their upcoming journey through the wilderness, and thought of taking these 'leaving' shots, so went there the other day. It's handy that it's so close, but I can't (or shouldn't) get down on the ground anymore, and that severely limits the possibilities. Plus , ever since the property was renovated and new, extremely modern buildings added to either side of the old Inn, I can't use some of the nicest old arches and gates because those contemporary buildings show through in the background.

So I was stuck using the railing of the one installation, and then a really fast shot in the Greek Theatre where they were getting ready to rehearse the evening's performance.

But I did get all the shots I wanted.

The last photograph says: journey, adventure, and something else, something special to come. We will wait to see what that is.

I always love to see the architectural garden. It is big and stately. It is the perfect place for the journey to begin.

I echo Donna. The photos of Winston turning to wave are precious.

The Ruins Garden serves as everyone's 'castle', whether it be Lawrence, Kassia & Adrian, or anyone else needling suitably Fantasy like setting.
