Laundry Day

With twins it seemed that very day was laundry day. And everything had to be done by hand.

It was a lot of work for the maid, so Naomi helped as much as she could...

And Dominic would often come out to watch the babies.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandbabies....

"He's so good with them."

"Yes, he is."

"How is it going? If you have something else you need to do, then I can take over."

"No, I don't have anything more important to do right now." and he turned to little Daniel, "Don't you agree?"

"I enjoy spending time with them."

"They grow up so fast."

So Naomi went back to helping with the laundry...

She kept thinking just how lucky her children were....

...to have such a loving grandfather...

Such a sweet domestic scene. I’m sure he’s thinking about what he missed with his own baby and doesn’t want that to happen again.

I hadn't thought about laundry. So oh my goodness, yes, everything has to be done by hand.

I guess Naomi can't go back to the other realm and bring forward a washing machine because there isn't any electricity anyway.

Dominic is so sweet with the babies.

Diapers, diapers everywhere! Naomi is fortuate to have help and is generous with her own time as well. Your washday props are wonderful!

I love seeing Dominic with his grandchildren! He is big and imposing in appearance and soft and gentle inside. A lovely combination.

Naomi may have left a lot behind her, but has chosen a life that is full of joy and love.
