So this week I made two lace doll dresses. Rachel chose this white lace with the pale turquoise and yellow flowers, to be made into a dress for one of her Our Generation dolls.....
With the limited time I had left to make any gifts for Christmas this year, I figured I should be able to make one outfit each for Teagan and Rachel. I had some gorgeous laces, and last Saturday showed them to the girls, and asked which one was their favourite. And which doll they'd like the dress for. So this week I made two lace doll dresses. Rachel chose this white lace with the pale turquoise and yellow flowers, to be made into a dress for one of her Our Generation dolls..... And Teagan chose a blue-gray lace, which she wanted made into something for her MIM doll. I had two yards of each lace, and with the MIM doll having a much smaller bodice and narrower sleeves, there was way more lace left over for the skirt, so she has a much fuller skirt. Now that those two are finished, I need to start the birthday doll clothes for Teagan. There's just one week left, and not every day is a good day, so I'll see what I can get done. Hopefully two outfits. Three if it's a really good week.
