Introducing Rosie

11/26/2019

Back in August when RaccoonDoll had their big anniversary sale, I ordered 'Steeze Rosie', as a potential girlfriend for Baron.  She arrived yesterday.

Of course I didn't have anything for her to wear, other than the white dressing gown set, so that's what I put on her. I've always imagined her as a blonde....

I had asked Raccoon not to paint the black line between her lips - to use a lighter brown - which they did.  She's very beautiful, although I see from the photos that her left eye needs to be moved a touch.

Anyways, it was clear right away that Baron was totally smitten....

...and she with him. Although what girl can resist a handsome knight??

She is very pretty. I love the color of her eyes. Baron does seem to be glowing (laugh).

She is lovely as a blonde. And you are so right... what girl could resist a handsome knight! And then what handsome knight could resist a lovely blonde maiden?!

I'm on the fence about her. She looks great in photos, but I don't know if I actually like her in real life. Jan says to give her some time. After all it took over two years to fall in love with Lawrence.

Congratulations on your beautiful new arrival. They make a striking and very romantic couple. As you say - what girl can resist such a charming and handsome knight?

Hi, Martha ! She's beautiful and the blonde hair suits her very well. I'm sure you will sew her amazing outfits very soon!

Thanks! Blonde is definitely her colour, but I may have to make her a wig, that's more in scale.

Congratulations on Rosie's arrival. She looks lovely indeed. Her close proximity to Baron seems to be giving her quite a glow. They look great together.
I ordered Steeze Rosie in milk mocha skin when she was first released. If I'm not mistaken, yours is milk mocha, too. Like you, I'm having some trouble connecting with her. I think maybe I need to invest some time and effort in how I wig and dress her. I had her in medieval dress for a while--it looked good on her.

Yes, my Rosie is Milk Mocha, like yours.

At the time of their sale, I debated with myself about getting her - the price was so good - but to be honest I prefer the Iplehouse ladies. They have 'softer' facial features. I debated with myself for that whole month, then ordered her anyways. I should have listened to myself.

The plan was for Rosie to be an 'active' Medieval maiden who would go out on adventures with Baron. I had envisioned her in something similar to him, with chainmail and weapons. Maybe I should try my JID Isar's outfit on her to see if that kind of thing actually suits her.

I think I won't get Rosie blushed, until I know for sure. That way if I decided to sell her, she'll still be in perfect condition. And in the meantime I might just order an Iplehouse girl during their Holiday Event.

Hi,
I am new to these dolls. I am so tempted to buy this Steezie Rosie, I am so glad I found your blog. Could you tell me where I could get outfits for the doll? I love the gowns. Do you sew your own outfits?
Thanks,
