At the beginning of August I won the photo competition in the Virtual Conference on Resin Cafe. First prize was a doll! Kaye Wiggs was sending me a Fair Izzy, all the way from Australia.
Well, she arrived this morning! I had been wondering when she would be coming, and had a nagging feeling I should check my front door, and sure enough there was a big box sitting there.
Of course I had to dress her right away. She came with brown glass eyes, but I switched them to lavender. I also trimmed her very long lashes. Maybe a bit too much. It was good that I'd saved one of the peach party dresses for myself, since it was perfect for her. I liked the auburn Tibetan lambskin wig best on her. Then I braved the awful heat and humidity to take some pictures....

Izzy looks like she stepped right out of the tea party pictures from the other day.
