Introducing Angela

Went to Charie's today to pick up my JID Benny and KID Angela. Charie worked her magic once again, and the two of them look just like sisters. I had a wintery outfit for Angela, which I made back in January, so I could dress her and try on some wigs. The wig that looked best was Erzulie's dark brown wig from Fatio, so I'll have to order one when it's back in stock.  In the meantime, she looked second best in the Brown/Black Ellowyne-Rose by Monique.

She came with the standard 12mm eyes, which I had already switched out to 10mm ones.
But even those seemed too big, so I tried my last pair of 8mm eyes. I may try the 10mm ones again as I try to figure out what looks best on her.

Angela was intended to be a big sister for Efreet and Erzulie, and she still will be, but her light brown resin is a completely different colour. Efreet and Erzulie are the original light brown with the French resin in the formula, and it's quite a bit lighter, and has a more 'yellow' undertone. The current light brown is a lot darker and has considerably more reddish undertones.

I took some photos of Angela with Paige, as the two of them were in the same order, so arrived together and will have the same 'birthday'.  I still haven't decided on which wig to give Paige.  I personally like Peach's wig best on her, but don't feel right stealing it. However, soon after taking these photos, I gave Paige Peach's wig again....

Next is Benny.  She is gorgeous!  And the first wig I tried on her looks beautiful, so at least that's one problem solved. But I don't have anything extra that fits a JID, so if I want to take an introductory photo, then I either have to borrow one of the other lady's outfits, or make something.

Beautiful new girl! ♥ The resin color for "light brown" really has changed a lot. It would be nice, if Iplehouse would keep the resin colors consistent.

Angela is beautiful. The light brown is perfect for her. And the painting is wonderful.
I would give Paige a curly wig. She looks so much better with it.

Funny thing, but I adore how Paige reminds me of a young Jack Wild. Her sculpt would make a great boy as well as a beautiful girl. Congrats on all your new children.

I agree. I think the Paige sculpt would make a great boy. Just wish Iplehouse would make some more masculine hands for KID boys.

You are going to have so much fun with her I can see....welcome to Angela!
And isn't it amazing just how much the resin colour mix has changed over time.
