I finished Eden's outfit yesterday, just as we were experiencing the first snowfall of the season...

You really got all those studs done quickly!! So much work involved in t his fantastic outfit! The colors of his outfit and the horse go so perfectly with his surroundings. Did the snow get there by itself as you photographed? Or did you add it? If you added it, it couldn't be more perfect! Winter shots around here are pretty boring--more soggy and no snow.

I spent much of Saturday doing them, so there was only ten left Sunday morning.

It's all natural snow. It was snowing pretty hard, esp in the photos where he isn't wearing his hood ( The first time I took him out - I took him out twice) If you look at those photos you can see all the streaks of the snow falling. I had to take every shot twice just in case there was a snow streak across his face on one of them.

His outfit is wonderful! I can't believe how quickly you got it done. The photos are great. The first snow couldn't have come at a better time!

When his wig gets wet with the snow, do you have to reset it?

Thanks. I was determined to finish it so I could move on to the next costume.

His wig isn't styled - it's just the natural curl of the mohair - so getting snow on it, or getting wet doesn't do anything to it.

What stunning photos! And that costume is just incredible! I am so inspired by your detailed work...the studs, the embroidery, even his horse is decked out in beautiful finery. I love following your blog!

Very handsome - and the outfit you created for him is splendid. Love his steed and the snowy background too.
