I had knit Hope a new sweater, in paler, more muted colours, and since we were going to take photos in the Sciilas, I took her along...

What a pretty sweater set. Hope has such a lovely face.
Her hair is beautiful.

Thank you. Up until now she had a very bright coloured sweater, which was actually a KID reject. It always made her pale resin colour look too washed out. This new sweater lets her pretty face be the focus instead.

The soft colours really suit Hope with her light skin and blonde hair.

I always look forward to your spring photos in the field of scillas. It was so nice that the owners of the property mowed down the vines that were choking everything else out.

Thank you. I was excited to see that they'd mowed the dog strangling vines last fall. Even so, I've been mostly taking photos at one corner along the road where there's bushes that can pass for trees. I have some amazing photos of two FID couples taken there, which will get posted eventually.

It's just that the photo ideas are coming way too fast, and there's still lots waiting from Marchand early April, so I've already been doubling up recently.

I'd really like to go one more time before we get the snow they are forecasting in two days.

It's actually very nice to be able to go take photos there again this year. Last year we had no way together there, except once a week when our son came. I did go once, but it was middle of the day in bright sunshine, which is the worst for doll photos. Plus it's always awkward trying to take doll photos with other people around.

So it's been a lot better this year.

I love the sweater and hat sets you knit for your dolls and I would love to make some for my own dolls. Would you consider making the pattern available to buy on download? there is very little out there for this size of doll and I'm not too good at making up my own, although I did manage a hat at the third attempt that wasn't too bad.

The problem is that I don't have a clue as to how to write a knitting pattern with all the proper terminology. All my little sweater sets are modified from a pattern that was available online for free, and that site no longer exists.
