Yesterday is was overcast, and perfect to try some doll photos at the Ruins Gardens, so after lunch we headed over, hoping the rain would hold off long enough to take some photos. We found a nice deserted spot at the base of an old bank facade, and set up my little troupe. Nami had volunteered to take on the role of little 'Celtic Maiden', replacing Elin who was heading off to the spa. The park's 'resident cat' came over to see what we were doing, and after a quick glance at my little group, and realizing we didn't have anything for him to eat, he left. I managed a few more shots, but then it started to spit, so we quickly put the dolls
back in their boxes. Then the skies opened up and we were thoroughly drenched by the time we made it back to the car.

How beautiful ! I do hope you'll be able to take more photos soon ! Love the new wig of the boy and all the costumes ! Is the horse from Our Generation ? I saw one similar this summer when I was in Ireland, unfortunately it was impossible to put it in my suitcase and they told me they didn't ship abroad. It looks really great and is perfect for your dolls !

So cool. I really need to fix up that horse I have and start letting my dolls ride him, though I would love to buy one of the new ones too. But first, I have to finish cleaning out the upstairs room so I can move up there...

The adventure began thrilling, eye in eye with that really BIG cat. He was clever to leave fast, otherwise maybe one of the boys would have catched him and tamed him as a mount. :-)

The Ruins Garden is such a great spot for photos! Your little troupe of adventurers are wonderful. They look quite at home and very determined on their journey, with Milo in the lead and Ringo as rear guard. What a strange and dangerous land they've come to... a giant cat for their first encounter :o)
