It was getting late, and all the thin tapers reserved for fancy functions, had burned down, so Rosie replaced them all with the standard, thicker candles.... Nami and Paige joined Grace, who had been hanging out near the keg all evening.... "This is good stuff." "Well, don't drink too much. You don't want to get drunk!" 'I better not have any more then. But it sure tastes good!' *Note: Water was often filthy and contaminated with all kinds of bacteria in those days, so everyone drank wine or beer - even the children.

Beautiful photos, as always. And, of course, I love the outfits. You have an incredible array of props! I would like to do more with props but just don't have space to store them. That was a very interesting factoid about the water. I keep wondering if it was generally very smelly back then.
