Happy Thanksgiving!

Today is Thanksgiving in Canada, a time for families to come together and give thanks.
And since I finally have a doll-size turkey, there was no excuse to not celebrate this year....

Thanks! I felt it was finally time to do a Thanksgiving dinner.
Have to say thought, that it took almost as long as doing the real thing.

Awwww...I love this. Did you make the turkey? Such great photos with so much detail, warmth, and love. They really capture the feeling of a happy family at Thanksgiving.

Yes I made the turkey, back at Christmas when I was doing a Gnome Christmas story. It's polymer clay over aluminum foil, and painted.

This is the first time I actually had a turkey at Thanksgiving, so forced myself to take some photos. I had to pull Holly back out of the past, where she's been hanging out with her Victorian cousins. And then I spotted my 'Santa' up in the cupboard, and decided it wouldn't be a true 'family' Thanksgiving dinner without at least one grandparent.

I just noticed that Owen has a new wig (or have I missed it before?) He looks great in it. I really need to try making wigs for my little guys.

Yes, he has a new wig. I've been meaning to do a before and after post about it, but didn't get to it yet. It was a lot harder than the last few, and it wasn't quite how I wanted it, especially in the sideburn and part areas, but at least it's better than his blonde Johnny wig.
