Happy Halloween!

Halloween seems to sneak up on me every year.  I buy miniature pumpkins in September with every intention of letting a new set of dolls carve them, and then suddenly it's Halloween day, and I've still not done it.  It didn't help that we were gone all day yesterday.  Anyways, I finally got inspired today, but before I post the photos I just took, we'll have a little look at some of my favourite Halloween photos from years gone by....

I love the photos, especially the group photo of the little dolls, and of course, the one with Erzulie.

Happy Boo Day to you!

All delightful Halloween photos - I especially loved that story with Lawrence!

Thanks. That Storyteller series with Lawrence was definitely one of my favourites too. He photographed so well with all those devils. Every now and then it's fun to do something so totally different.

Each year it is a treat to see what you come up with for Halloween photos! One of my favourites is the 2014 sequence with the beautiful night time shots of the children trick-or-treating at Leona's house.

Thanks. I personally find Halloween a challenge. It always seems to sneak up on me, and then I have to pull something together last minute, and some years I skipped it altogether. This year was no different, shooting all the pumpkin carving and 'costume' photos on the afternoon of Halloween day itself. Nothing like being creative under pressure when there's a deadline.!
