Happy Canada Day!
Today is Canada's 156th birthday! I thought I'd celebrate this great nation with a look at some of my favourite photos from my doll's cross-country travels. Starting on the west coast in British Columbia. At Pacific Rim National park.. Hiking in the rain forest at Pacific Rim... At the parliament buildings in Victoria... At Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park, British Columbia. At Waterton Lakes National Park in Alberta... At the Ice Fields Centre, in Banff, Alberta. At Maligne Lake, Jasper National Park, Alberta At Lake Edith Cavell, Jasper, Alberta. The endless wheat fields of the Prairies... Grain elevators in Saskatchewan... More grain elevators in Saskatchewan... Windy Manitoba... North of Superior, Ontario Killarney, Ontario... Niagara Falls, Ontario... Quebec City... Eastern townships, Quebec... Cape Tormentine, New Brunswick.... Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia.... Fortress Louisbourg, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia.... Rose Blanche, Newfoundland.... Goose Cove, Newfoundland... St. Anthony, Newfoundland.... Inukshuk in Labrador....
On the dock in Twillingate, Newfoundland... Canada Day, Bonavista, Newfoundland... St. John's Harbour, Newfoundland... Sunset at Cape Spear, Newfoundland... I hope you enjoyed this little look back at some of our travels across this great country.
Happy Canada Day!

Happy Canada day! I have tried for many years to immigrate but was never able to get either my first or second husband to consider it. My great-grandmother came from Canada and through her I have generations of French Canadian ancestors. The trips I've had to Canada have been wonderful. It is a beautiful place.

Your wonderful photographs are a visual tribute to Canada. As the dolls enjoy the splendid locales you have captured, we can imagine ourselves there.
