Going for a Walk

11/12/2019

Well, they were all finally ready to start on their walk....

Steve decided to push the carriage....

...so Iris would be free to walk with Eric and Nyssa....
Picture
..after all, they still needed plenty of her attention too....

*note - I'm so glad I had the foresight to shoot outdoor scenes with my Victorian family in the end of October, because you never know how long it will be before a killer frost and winter moves in.  Good thing too, because we had a record-breaking snowfall yesterday and overnight, and this is what it looked like out there this morning.......the same table used for the scenes above.....
What a difference three weeks makes!!

Oh my goodness, you got a ton of snow.

I am glad you took photos in advance also because there is no way the family could have gone for a casual stroll in all of that snow.

I like that Steve is doing Dad duty so the little ones can have Mom's full attention.

We sure did!

I'm so glad for the earlier Victorian family photos outside. There was another session just two weeks ago.

They definitely will not be going outside in the snow dressed like that, and I have no plans to make them all winter wear. Although I imagine that would allow for some interesting winter photo stories. Nope, I already have way too much to do!!

I have a feeling that Eric and Nyssa are going to be sneaking out to play in the snow (chuckle).

Not going to happen.

How I love your little Victorian family! If there were a Canadian Victorian Norman Rockwell, he would be painting them.

Your garden in the fresh snow is beautiful. We had about that much here too last night.

I love the look of all that snow. This year is exactly the way I like the seasons to change - from flowers, almost right away to snow. I hate the dead brown in between.
