I have to take advantage of all the blue flowers while I can, so yesterday I took my two Victorian girls over for a photo-shoot. First Lisa and Lonnie taking their buggy full of baby dolls for a walk....

The scilla photos are forcing me to try some new Photoshop techniques, blurring the backgrounds in an effort to minimize the clutter of all the distracting dog-strangling vines and dead branches in the background. They are everywhere this year, and it's a huge challenge trying to find good spots to take photos. If it was my property, I would mow down all the dead weeds in late fall and clear out the fallen branches, so that there would be a perfect sea of uninterupted blue flowers the following spring. That would look spectacular! Oh well, I just have to make the best of it as it is.
Today I really, really need to buckle down and sculpt those sheep crooks! It's time to move onto the next commission - I've already started sorting out the patterns I'll need - but the Bo Peep sets aren't finished until these props are done.
