It was late September, the invitations had gone out, and everyone was getting ready to attend the wedding of the year. I wanted as many guests as possible, so got busy helping my JIDs who weren't already wearing something appropriate, change into outfits they could wear to a Medieval wedding. Benny, who is usually a contemporary Mom, and has never worn anything fancy, looked stunning in one of my FID evening gowns, after I quickly made some matching tube sleeves to give the gown more of a Medieval feel. Isar and Soa were going in their own outfits, although I did change both their wigs, and gave them both a festive flower wreath to wear in their hair.... I wondered if Asa could attend the wedding. I even removed her hoop skirts to see if her skirt would hang in more of a Medieval style... But I decided she didn't look 'period appropriate' enough, and I didn't have anything else for her to wear, so she wouldn't be going.

I love the sleeves you added to the pink dress. They match so well and Benny looks like a fairy princess in it.

Thanks. I loved that pink gown on Benny, but it wasn't 'Medieval' enough without those tube sleeves. With them she was perfect.

I love how you decide who is going based on their outfit.

I had to. I couldn't have contemporary people (or ones from the wrong period) at a Medieval wedding. And I only had so many spare costumes for a select number of dolls to borrow.

What a good idea to introduce the guests who will be attending the wedding!

I thought they all looked so nice that they deserved some portrait shots.
