Fresh Faces

Charie finished the faceups on Narae and little Elin. Narae has been de-yellowed and is now back to her original golden beige skintone - so she is still "yellowish" but not as yellow as before. Charie gave her beautiful bright eyes so now she looks so much more alert.

Little Iplehouse Elin looks adorable - another shy little toddler! Both dolls have size 10 JPop glass eyes - ones I ordered for Cinnamon way back when I first got her, and never did use. Narae originally had size 14 eyes, and Elin came with size 12, but we don't care for when the iris fills almost the entire eye hole - we prefer a little more white showing.

Narae's very glossy lips and eyes still need to be toned down a bit, and Elin needs a bit of lip shine, but I couldn't wait to share photos of them. Unfortunately I've come down with a bad cold so can't go pick them up. Here's Charie's photos of my two girls.

Wow - what a difference to Narae. Love the new eyes and the French Polish on her nails. Elin sure is adorable. Have you got an outfit planned for her to wear?

Hope your cold gets better soon.

Thanks Lucy!

I don't have anything planned for Elin yet as she came so fast - I ordered her just two weeks ago, and now she's here and already had a faceup done as well! I'm thinking maybe a quick little pink lace dress to go with Cinnamon's pink lace dress - like two little friends dresses in similar outfits. I have that same lace but in a darker old rose. Then maybe an old rose velvet bodice. She's going to need wigs and shoes too. Poor Tedros is just going to stay on that back burner forever!!

That's what's so neat about BJDs - everyone can make them 'their own'. Narae still had her factory faceup, and she always looked so sleepy or 'out of it'. Now her eyes are very defined and she looks much more 'with it'.
