Today is officially the first day of Spring - although one would never know it here - but it's also "Festival of Extraterrestrial Abductions Day". My girls decided not to take any chances....They went down to the lake by the nuclear plant - where UFOs are known to hang out - but they went prepared. I just took a few photos, and it was enough for a very short little photo story, but I still need to go back and shoot the finale - then I'll post it in Favourite Photos.

I love the humor in this photo -- and that someone had to take a stuffie along for moral support. Thanks for my morning giggle.

Maybe on a low-budget, cheesy UFO film with extremely limited funds, like I have? I bought aluminum pie plates and beads at Dollarama and glue-gunned it together. I wouldn't be surprised if that's what they did on some of those early shows too.
