Well, technically, only four are true elves with pointy ears, but Talyssa tags along with the others whenever they go. In summer they will often become fairies....

Oh the photos are so lovely. Layla is a scene stealer. I love the photo of her face gazing up at Santa.

It's appropriate for him to welcome her as it was his pool photo (well your talent) that took Layla to you in the first place.

By the way, I got to see Dotti's Erzulie. Now I want one!!! Geez, doll people are so dangerous (laugh). I am hoping that Iplehouse will have a holiday sale or that I can find someone who is selling an Erzulie.

What color is your Erzulie? I think Dotti's is light brown.

Jan suggested I take photos of Santa with her, since it was the photos of him and the elves that won her.

I'd say to wait until their Holiday Event when they put their Doll Choice on Basic prices. That will save you $50 right off the top. It's better to get one brand new than to risk a scratched one secondhand.

My Erzulie is the old light brown. The really OLD, original light brown with French resin in it. When they switched to their current formula, their light brown kept getting lighter, until they suddenly decided to update the colour, and 'light brown' became a lot darker. People complained, so now they offer the lighter 'Light Brown' (which I'd suggest getting), and the darker version as 'Dark Brown', which is the colour of my Ah'ra and Benny. I really wish they'd been the lighter brown.

Don't tell the rest of the elves, but I think Layla is the prettiest one of all. The photo of her with Santa is really sweet. I love your Santa, he's been a great addition to your doll family!
