Baron and Rex were only too happy to accept their invitation to join them....

It all looks so casual and so real. Of course the travelers would meet up with a griffin and his two friends. Of course they would share a meal with them. Of course they would engage in conversation. I am so loving this story.

Thanks. Yes, of course they would. Always expect the unexpected from me.

I really love this set of photos with my old Fantasy characters, so saved it to post towards the end of their winter patrol.

Looks like we are all waiting for spring! It still looks cold to me. The photos are so detailed & I love the characters. So nice to see people being friendly to each other & sharing their meal. Great story!

Thank you. It was very cold that day. I took these photos more than a month ago in the end of January. I try plan ahead so I'm ready for whenever a picturesque snowfall presents itself, so things are often not photographed in the order they appear in my stories.

Yes, I prefer friendly, kind characters. There's enough misery in the world that I don't want it in my doll world as well.

Expecting the unexpected is a great way to put it! Your fantasy world is wonderful place.

Even the griffin has a roasted turkey leg in his talon :o) And the griffin's comment about his wife is so funny.

Thank you. The griffin and the gnome beside him on the log, are usually roasting marshmallows on the little guy's spears in my display case, but I figured Rex and Baron would much rather prefer something a little more hearty, so replaced them with turkey drumsticks.

I can almost feel the cold! I love this charming cozy scene of good friends enjoying shared warmth, good times, and food!
