Final Trip Pictures

Well, I finally finished the photo album from our 2012 trip to the Pacific. I was determined to get it done before we go out there again this fall, so have been working on it all year. And now it's finally done!

That trip was the first time I took several dolls along in order to shoot a Fantasy Adventure story. I decided to include some of the best doll photos throughout the scenic shots, since they were an integral part of the trip. Many of the doll photos were never processed - until now. So I thought I'd share a few today - sometimes along with the spots they were taken.

Kyle at Waterton Lakes National Park, in Alberta. I had thought the Prince of Wales Hotel would make a great 'castle' in the background, so made sure to include it in the doll pictures...

Pictures from Red Rock Canyon, also in Waterton Lakes, were never processed...

And back in Ontario, Maya finding some nice stones at Sinclair Cove, on Lake Superior...

I'm glad I'm finally done!  The trip album turned out to be the biggest album ever, with just over 1,000 photos.  But it was a four week trip through so many interesting places across both the USA and Canada. And I included doll photos this time. They were taken completely out of the sequence they would be in their Fantasy Adventure, and one of these days I need to put it all together into a comprehensive story. Many of the doll photos are in albums in Favourite Photos 2012.  If you are interested in seeing the entire trip album - all 1,000 photos - and seeing where all the doll photos were taken, just click on the photo below.

Such realistic pictures. Breathtaking! For a moment I forgot the dolls aren't human-sized and worried about you standing so close to the waterfall to pose them.
