My dolls are on hold at the moment as I try to make some good progress knitting the baby blanket. I found some great baby yarn on sale at half price at Michael's. Wonderful colours too, and it's so soft to knit. It's a nice change after the tiny doll scarves, but will take a lot longer.
Today is "Bird Day", so my girls are being extra generous with the seeds today. We are in for another winter storm later today and overnight - lots of snow.....and freezing rain again. Hopefully the freezing rain won't be as bad as last time. My dolls are on hold at the moment as I try to make some good progress knitting the baby blanket. I found some great baby yarn on sale at half price at Michael's. Wonderful colours too, and it's so soft to knit. It's a nice change after the tiny doll scarves, but will take a lot longer. Whereas the stripes on the little scarves took just five minutes, each coloured stripe on the baby afghan takes about an hour - and there's going to be way more of them. My goal is to knit a minimum of two stripes per day until I'm finished. More if time allows.
