I received a beautiful flower arrangement for Mother's Day....
This will be my last post for a little while, as I won't have access to social media for a while, so I thought I'd leave you with something adorable.... I received a beautiful flower arrangement for Mother's Day.... I love the formal arrangements and always try take photos while the flowers are still reasonably fresh.... The roses never last very long and are always the first to go, but the other flowers in the arrangement can often last for two weeks or more. By then the entire arrangement is ready to go onto the compost pile. And then the fun really begins. I take the faded flowers outside and cut them up for photos with my dolls.... Most years I've photographed the faded flowers with fairies, but this time I chose my two baby elves, and their two little friends, the little girl dragons... So, I'm leaving you with this big smile, and for all you fans out there who come here every day to check out my daily Blog posts, you can always get your daily fix in my Favourite Photos albums for the next little while instead. There's fourteen years worth of photos and stories there that you can revisit, and enjoy!

Yes, I especially saved this post for today, since it will be a while before I can post anything again.

I'll bet you were smiling as much when you took the photos as they are in the photos... and as all of us are likely doing as we see them!

Taking the photos was fun, but what really made me smile was seeing the actual photos. These elf babies are just so adorable, especially when interacting with the little dragons.

I echo Donna. There are smiles all around. The girls, fairy and dragon, are adorable.

Thanks for this wonderful post—the baby dragon & elf portraits are so darn adorable! I’ve been so sporadic about getting online that I have lots to catch up on. You share so much joy through your arts, I hope you enjoy your time away! Comments are closed.
