The next day they went exploring the city within the Old Walls... They eventually made their way down to the Lower Town....

What a beautiful city! Everywhere the eye looks, there is something wonderful to see.

I could too, but I wouldn't have been brave enough to set up a scene like that anywhere in public. The place was packed with tourists. And even if I was brave enough, we had enough stuff to lug around with us already on the ferry from Levis, that props and furniture were out of the question.

Marvelous city and photos! I especially love the artist taking a rest at his selling spot.

Thank you. I've always loved that passage between the buildings where the artists sell their work.

You've really captured old Quebec City! Beautiful photos of a beautiful place.

Yes, Quebec City used to be a lot nicer before it became a popular cruise ship destination. We hadn't been there for a while and weren't prepared for the changes - including the loss of the one parking lot where we used to be able to park. We were lucky to find a single place to park in Levis, and ended up having to take the ferry across the river. But the Lower Town was so packed with people (mostly American tourists) that it was impossible to take nice photos there. Comments are closed.
