Elin's Birthday Party

Well, it's been a rough two weeks since Elin's birthday on August 30th,
but she was finally able to have her friends over for her party today.

I've changed her eyes. I really liked the light blue ones she had when she came back from the 'spa', but they photographed very 'glassy' and with her lightly blushed nose, she always looked like she'd been crying. So now her eyes are a medium blue. Almost all her friends came....

Tillie and Cinnamon couldn't make it, so the only other one missing was Ringo. But he's still pretending to be Robin Hood, and waiting for his studio portraits, so he can switch back to his contemporary persona.

Elin and her two best friends admired the cute duckies all over her cake....
...while the boys were more interested in the treats....

You throw a wonderful party :o) Tasty treats, the adorable ducky cake, lots of presents, and best of all... all her friends to share in the fun.
They look like they're having a great time.

Thanks! It was touch-and-go for a bit. The forecast was calling for showers this afternoon, but I had everything ready - balloons blown up, treats ready, everyone dressed (except Ringo). Then at noon it got dark and threatening to rain. Big disappointment, since the balloons wouldn't last to the next sunny day (Monday maybe). But then, by some miracle - the first good thing to happen all week - it got brighter and the sun came back out, just long enough for Elin's party.

Happy Birthday Elin! What a lot of friends you have!!!

And I totally agree with Donna, you throw a wonderful party Martha! And I am so pleased that the weather played right for you in the end.......I love seeing your Birthday party photos.

I think your photos are fantastic! The way the scenes are set up with so much detail amazes me. If you made up birthday cards I would purchase some!
