Early Birds

The next morning the sun was shining through the trees, lighting up the inside of the camper. Talyssa was awake in her sleeping bag.
"Raillie...are you awake?"

"Yes. It's too bright to sleep anymore. Do you want to get up?"

'We could go explore the campground while everyone else is still asleep. But it's a bit chilly, so we'll need a sweater.""

So they put on their sweaters and went out into the early morning chill...

No one else was up yet.

"It looks like it's going to be a nice day."

I love seeing the girls in their sleeping bags.

My favorite photo is the last one. I am enjoying seeing the perspective. I love how you place the dolls in the scenes and make the pictures look so real.

I like using forced perspective when taking doll photos out in the real world. Unfortunately I'm having great difficulty getting down on the ground anymore, so these photos were all done with the help of a picnic table.

They look so cute snuggled down in their sleeping bags with their stuffies tucked in beside them.
Early morning when no one else is awake is a lovely time for a walk, everything is so fresh and still and peaceful. They'll be hungry for breakfast when they get back to their campsite.... and there's nothing like a good camping breakfast!

It was early morning, Jan had gone out in his kayak, and I thought I'd take some campground scenes using my sister's camper. I made it for her Barbies fifty years ago, and have borrowed it on occasion. Figured since I borrowed it I better use it.

Its as a great day for doll photography since all the other campers had left, and we had the place pretty much to ourselves.
