When I got up this morning there were two emails from Paypal saying my orders from Iplehouse had shipped! That sure was fast - just over two weeks! But I couldn't figure out why there were two separate transactions with two separate tracking numbers. Surely the two wigs I ordered with the doll could fit in the same box? So out of curiosity I ran the tracking numbers through the Canada Post tracking system, and the notices were for two older shipments - one from December and one from February. I checked my order status on the Iplehouse site, and sure enough it was still at "Paid in Full, Preparing for Delivery", in other words, not shipped yet. Bummer. And here I was getting all excited at the prospect of Peach arriving and my Soa getting her proper body. Sigh! Those last two orders both took exactly eight weeks, so there's still a ways to go. The end of May maybe?
Well, I better get those two Celtic ladies out of the closet so I can finish their costumes. Other than knitting the sleeves, it's mostly leather-work left to do - the belts, wrist-guards, leather bags - and the jewelry. In other words - all intense handwork.
