Dinner in Camp

After crossing the mountains, they'd decided to take a break and just rest up in camp for a day.

This time Winston offered to make dinner by himself...

Willie was only too happy to be able to just sit with the others and enjoy a meal for a change....

Winston had made all his favourite signature dishes...

..no doubt, to impress the lovely Saphira...

Even though Phairby was usually off fulfilling her Fairy Godmother duties, she usually made it a point to join them for meals. "This looks so good!"

I want to go camping with Winston! No hot dogs for him; he does a gourmet camping dinner, served on china plates and golden goblets.

I keep saying it, but I can't help it. They are all so CUTE!!! It's a hoot how they all need little cushions to reach the table. Their striped tent is perfect.

Thanks. Yes, Winston is quite the cook.

The Elves are very cute. I'm looking forward to finishing the last three, so I can do little stories with them.

It's interesting that Jan made the table and benches for my Forest Dwellers, who sit perfectly on them. They must be longer in the body than these little guys. Good thing my KW dolls had brought these little cushions along. I especially like Willie's plump little tush seated on a pillow.

This was a really hard scene to shoot since it required getting down on the ground, and I was already in quite some pain at that point. So no taking photos, getting up, moving, changing the poses and getting down again.

I always enjoy seeing Winston in an apron. He has truly outdone himself with that wonderful spread.

I love the last photo as you can see the water nearby. This was the perfect picnic spot.

Man, I bet they are all glad Winston came along with them. He is quite the chef and under all kinds of conditions too.
