Spent the afternoon 'costuming' some of my son's 'ghosts' for his front lawn Halloween display. Plastic film and packing tape sure goes a lot faster than sewing! Each ghost has a string of LED lights inside, run on a battery pack, so they'll glow at night.

Oh my goodness!! How amazing (my mouth actually dropped open) they must make for one stunning display at night! Wow!

He likes to do something different every year, and this is what he wanted to do this year. We went over last weekend to help with making the basic 'dummies', and went again yesterday to finish them off, and set them up. There were 10 figures out front, and two in the front window,

You can always check on my Facebook page. My sister added in some night shots in the comments. She also helped with the ghosts.

He had several store mannequins, which we wrapped with plastic and then covered with packing tape - like mummies. Then the plastic layers were split and taken off the manikins and taped back together. 'Clothes' was made by taping on draped plastic sheeting.

Sorry, no tutorial or instructions available. It was just a fun family get together helping our son with his Halloween project.

We only helped our son make them the one year and the following year he moved on to something else. Leave a Reply. |
