To cut the cake, Aeran used a special jewelled sword from her mother.... "Who wants a slice?" Bonnie thought the cake was delicious. She especially like the strawberry filling.... Everyone loved the cake....

Beautiful wedding! I love how the little girls are anxiously awaiting a slice of cake. The glasses and plates match the cake colors so perfectly. Are they 'Depression' glass? They look just like the collectible glassware in the US.

I don't know if they are 'Depression glass', but they are from some vintage miniature glassware sets for dolls, which I bought at a doll show two years ago.

I enlarged the picture (don't know why I didn't think of that before commenting) to get a better look, then did some research and discovered that they did indeed make a child-size version of some Depression glass sets. I did not know that! So I would say that your dishes are most likely Depression glass.

LOL I don't know if you'd really have wanted some 'cake'. It was an elaborate concoction of styrofoam, hot glue, drywall compound, and ribbon roses. The individual 'slices' were polymer clay. I doubt it was very tasty, after all, I didn't see any bites taken out of any of those slices. Comments are closed.
