Lisa had spread out the fabric and was ready to lay out the patterns,
and of course Bonnie wanted to help...

"I can pass you the pins!"

"Thanks, but those pins are very sharp, so I think I'd better do it myself"

I chose a picture of some of my other dolls in a dress similar to the one Lisa will be making, and using a Butterick pattern as a guide, made a pattern envelope front in PhotoShop, printed it out, and made the envelope. The pattern number is actually the date that original photo was taken: 9 - 5 - 13

I do not know about others who have learned to love you, but 4 me Martha, its the ability to 'see' your generous and loving heart 'through' your work. Its not only your beautiful creations and inspiration, but its the Gift you have on your life by 'sharing' it. All successful people in the world can have a gift, we all do, but what sets us apart is the ability to share the love, and you display that through your Tutorials and your explanations and your ability to respond and answer questions. I have learned to love you through your work for who you are, and of course your outstanding work. I do not want 2b mushy, hope Im not sounding this way, its that I believe we are so used in life to hearing about what is wrong in the world, that we do not praise enough. Love is what binds us together in life, and since the day I discovered you on the interent, I have learned about you through your loving ways, and to me personally that is what makes you stand out. The way you make your dolls feel so 'real' shows me that life is worth living. This is the only way to contact you, and Im honored to get to know you, that is why I talk to you like you are family. Our love of dolls makes us a family and love knows no distance. God bless you today. Katee
