Consoling Themselves

10/17/2013

"Bald and Free Day", also happens to be "National Dessert Day". I guess whomever decided to pair those on the same day figured anyone who was bald - on purpose or otherwise - needed something to make themselves feel better about it. At least that's my theory.

So the girls made themselves some huge chocolate sundaes.
"Eating lots of chocolate will make our hair grow in faster, right?"

"I don't know. It's the second day already, so shouldn't we have some stubble by now?"

I'm crazy busy and overwhelmed today with all the things needing doing, but I just had to take a bit of time out to photograph the girls.

Two of the Jennet outfits are all packed and ready to go to the Post Office. Kayla is in a box ready to go to Charie to get her red nose and black lips removed. Soa is all dressed in Aeran's Celtic Warrior outfit. I'm so glad I made it big enough to fit a small-chested JID. The only thing that is really a tight fit on either doll is the belt, and I made that with several holes so it's adjustable.

I really need to finish the third Hallowe'en costume for my granddaughters. I was doing so well on it last week until my sewing machine acted up, and then I had to put everything away for three days for the Thanksgiving weekend. It's so hard getting back into it, as I mentally feel like I'm done, and have even started making costume accessories to turn existing BID outfits into Hallowe'en costumes.

My mice are sitting there just tempting me to play with them, and tracking shows Bonnie and Owen have arrived at the airport, so they will probably arrive tomorrow. So many dolls at once!

Ah the true test to a great face sculpt is seeing them Bald the girls look great even without hair. Glad they get to have ice cream poor girls ah but the great thing is they can be bald one minute and a full head of hair the next.

Awwww.......bless them all, I just want to ((hug)) them all!
But they look really so happy with their yummy-scrummy chocolate sundaes that I can't really feel sad about the loss of their hair for much longer.....can I?!

I love how you bring the dolls to life through your photographs!
