After the Botanical Gardens, we left Denver and headed south to Colorado Springs. We love the Garden of the Gods with it's huge red fins and rock formations nestled at the base of the mountains. We made dinner there, and everyone had a chance to relax...and watch the sunset... I've started the first trip album, and will be updating it daily, after some of the photos from each photography session are posted here. So for more pictures, you can check out the albums.

More wonderful scenery! The shot of the whole doll family is great. It's interesting how Bonnie looks so much younger than Efreet. Love the father-son hats!

Thanks! Every once in awhile, when we were parked right beside something interesting, then I could take all five dolls out for a family portrait. Otherwise, if we had to carry them any distance, I'd limit it to two or three. Usually two.

Beautiful pictures! I grew in Colorado Springs (live in Michigan now) and your photos make me homesick.

Thank you! Colorado Springs is a beautiful place. It's so nice they have that park - Garden of the Gods - and keep it free for everyone to enjoy. Must have been nice living so close to the mountains.

What an amazing place and what amazing photos of the dolls too. And Garden of the Gods....what an evocative name!

Thank you! Yes, so many parks in the US use 'biblical' place names. Many of the features in Arches National Park have them too - 'Garden of Eden, Devil's Garden, Fiery Furnace', etc. Zion Nat Pk wins the prize for the most though.
