Cleaning Up

1/17/2019

Well, the Christmas photos have finally come to an end, and I'm in the process of reclaiming my dining room. I shot the last of the Gnome Family Christmas photos yesterday, and sent them to my sister, who will be continuing with the story for a little while yet - and I'll be posting them here as she does. There's just one more scene to shoot, but I'm waiting for the snow expected this coming weekend. And that doesn't require the dining room.

Most of the bigger Christmas props have been packed away already, and most of the furniture put back on the shelves in the basement. Now I have to tackle all the miscellaneous props, and reorganize some of my boxes with smaller props, since I got (and made) some new ones, and the boxes were already full to bursting. So there's some reorganizing in order.

There's two birthday parties I need to shoot. One should have been done already, since her birthday is actually today, but being of 'school age' her parents have decided to hold it on the weekend. At least that's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it.

Speaking of 'arriving', Vakkmurddarr, the Dwarf King, from AGatti in Russia, is 'Out for Delivery', so should be arriving any minute. Which means I'll have three of her little guys to make costumes for  so they can eventually go get faceups.

But first, I want to make a robe for Christine, and an outfit for Phairby. And since she's blank, now it's also the perfect time to make a couple of wig caps. And while I'm at it, and still have a blank Lawrence head, I should make some wig caps for him and Rex at the same time.

Well, better get back to it.....

Wow, you do have a ton of things to put away. I am still loving the fireplace. I can't wait for the next adventure.

That's nothing! You should have seen it yesterday - after all day long photo sessions (four separate photo shoots) But I like it all cleaned up before I start again.

There's two birthday parties coming up soon, and I don't know what after those.
