Christmas Cookies

The house was dark and quiet, with the stockings hung from the fireplace...
Picture
When, in the wee hours of the morning, who should appear...
Picture
...but Santa, with his sack full of gifts.
Picture
But not everyone was sound asleep....
Picture
Picture
"I knew you would come..."
Picture
Picture
"So I helped Mom make your favourite cookies..."
Picture
Picture
Picture
"Well, let's try some then..."
Picture
And they sat down together....
Picture
...eating cookies...
Picture
...and chatting a while...
Picture
Picture
Picture
Picture
"Well, I still have a lot of other houses to go to...."
Picture
"so I can't stay..."
Picture
So he helped tuck the boy in....
Picture
...put on his mitts, and picked up his sack...
Picture
"It's been wonderful to see you again."
Picture
Picture
Picture
"Until next year then..."
Picture
Picture
"And thank you so much for the milk and cookies!"
Picture
Picture
"They really are my favourite!"
Picture
"Merry Christmas!"

That is such a cute story. What child wouldn't like to have cookies and milk with Santa?

I see that there are two trees. The big tree looks just like the tree in your house. You certainly know how to create "tree magic!"

Thanks. I used the second little tree for filler, since these Christmas scenes don't have any walls, and I was trying to hide my china cabinet.

The tree with the lights does sort of look like our full size tree. Except the ornaments are permanent so it only take a minute to set up, whereas our big tree takes a week to decorate.

Thanks. I really liked these photos and it was hard to choose which ones not to include.

I suspect these two get together every year.
