Chainmail for Milo

Another older outfit in need of chainmail was my KID boy's Fantasy costume. It was originally made with silver lame sleeves, but needed real chainmail. So Grace added some...

Bonnie can become their daughter, as she was one of my 'orphan' BIDs and without a family. However I haven't decided on Milo. He technically belongs to another family already. But I didn't have any 'orphan' KID boys.  So he's joining them for now.

They make a very noble group. He has a different tartan so maybe he is a fosterling from another family sent to be trained as a squire! I do love the stories you tell about your creations.

All four of them have different tartans.

Milo will likely not be staying in this group. He's Owen and Leona's son, so I'm going to order a new KID boy to take his place. But it will be a while since I've not even ordered one yet.

What a lovely family gathering. Milo might enjoy being the "stand in" son until the other child arrives. He looks very handsome in his outfit.

Thanks. That outfit was made for Milo several years ago, but I like it so much better with the addition of real chainmail.

His costume looks great with the new chainmail. He's such a handsome little guy! They definitely make a handsome family.

Have you decided yet which KID you will choose as their son?

It's so hard to choose, mostly because I have to choose one with an Iplehouse faceup, and also because most of the interesting KIDs are Limited, so that means going through Doll Choice.

I like Beau, but not her lower eye makeup. I like Celeste's sculpt, but hate her makeup. I could get another Paige, since I tried her in Milo's costume, and she looks great as a boy. I'd get her/him in Real skin with Iple makeup, so he would look very different. Then I also asked them about doing Paige's makeup on Celeste.

Their shipping rates are going up soon due to EMS raising their prices again, so I need to decide soon. I've been eyeing FID Dexter for some time as well, but FIDs are only available every other month, and not the same months as Doll Choice. I don't feel like paying all that extra for DC, but who knows if and what their next event will be.

It's a huge dilemma.

Sorry to barge in, I usually just lurk here, but have you thought about re-making your Peach as a boy? I know you haven't been able to really bond with her, so maybe some more radical change can help with that? Peach always struck me as a more boyish sculpt, so maybe it will work and you can save a bit and re-use a less popular of your dolls. ;-) Oh, and by the way the chain-mail is amazing and so are the whole costumes.

I actually did put Peach's head on Milo's body see how that would work, but she didn't work. I tried my Paige as well, and that looked perfect, even though my Paige is Normal resin. I considered getting Celena with Paige's makeup, but the Celina sculpt is so close to Paige, that I might as well go for Paige and save the DC fees.

So I'm going to order a real skin Paige boy the first of April when the FIDs are open again. With an Iple faceup he will be quite different from the Paige I already have.

I see :) I think Paige is an amazing sculpt and will make a great boy!
