There's a lovely garden, behind the parliament buildings, which has a fountain with several bronze sculptures of animals important to the indigenous people of the area.
It was late afternoon when we arrived in downtown Victoria, the capital of British Columbia. It's a beautiful city, and one of just a few major cities that we actually enjoy going right into the downtown. We found a parking spot right behind the parliament buildings, and chose four dolls to came along with us to explore the downtown waterfront area. I have a cloth bag which can hold two doll boxes, and even though the dolls are stored one per box while travelling, whenever we are going for a walk any distance from the RV I'll fit two dolls per box so we can bring more along with us. And this is just the first nine days of the trip! There's still a lot more to come.
