It's a lovely custom for Naomi to bring with her into the past.

The way your photos seem to capture different expressions on the characters' faces by the way you pose them and the angles you chose to use is really impressive.

Thank you. It's not easy dealing with expresionless dolls, so I do my best to convey emotions with the different camera angles.

This Renaissance Wedding reminds me of my own to my husband Paul Hoffman in 2006 at our Renaissance Faire in Larkspur, CO. I wore gold and ivory and he work black/brown and metallic gold accents on his Doublet. Do you happen to know what issue or month your Lovely in Lavendar was in Doll Crafter/ Costuming 2008? I would love to get that issue for the pattern. Thanks for your reply to my question. You did a wonderful job with the photos. I have never seen them before now. I am going to plan on making a Renaissance gown for my 11.5" Blythe Doll from your patterns. I know I will have to scale down the patterns on my computer to have them fit her better. Is there a measurement for the skirt pattern that is not shown to print? Thank you for all you do for all of us. Elaine

No, I don't know which issue that pattern was in.

Sorry, but there are no full size patterns for the skirt, as they are way too big to fit onto a standard size sheet of paper. But there should be a drawing showing the skirt dimensions..

Martha, Can you tell me what the size in inches that the Ipelhouse Kid Medieval costume is for? I tried to downsize the Medieval Iplehouse BID patterns to 33% to fit my 11.5" Blythe Doll that has the Body of a Skipper doll. Can you tell me if I am even close to her dimensions? I am not very good at this at all. Please help!

I'm sorry but I don't know anything about Blythe dolls. From what I've seen of them they are a completely different scale and proportion than the dolls I have.

I did go look at the KID size Renaissance Dress Pattern, and noticed I'd not included the measurements for a KID. So I added them.

Good luck!

It is sweet that they are blending traditions. I am sure they will do that throughout their marriage.
