Leona's Village Bake Shop was lucky enough to get the contract for all the baked items for the Medieval Gala, so she's been busy baking all week.... *The cream puff tower, and rolls, are made from salt dough, and everything else is polymer clay. I already had a small turkey and decided to make it double as a pheasant by making a tail out of card stock, which could be inserted in it's body cavity. And I made some turkey drumsticks....

I love how you are mixing the historic with the contemporary. Our minds can time travel (laugh).

The thing is, Rex and Bianca are in modern times, going to a Medieval themed Gala, so that's what Rex rented their costumes for. So right now there's no time travel involved. Unless you count Rex and Bianca being in the present time period.

It's fun to see Leona happily "creating" these masterpieces of pastry. If they were real they would be far to beautiful to eat, so it's a good thing they're not and we get to enjoy them indefinitely :o)
