Some of my girls decided to take advantage of the Boxing Day sales today. I decided that, because I wasn't feeling well until just a week before Christmas, and then we were hit with the big ice storm, that I lost so much time that my dolls were short-changed on their Christmas celebrations. Their tree wasn't decorated, their gifts weren't wrapped, they never had a chance to make gingerbread houses, and they didn't get a chance to hang up their stockings. So this year I'm going to do the "Twelve Days of Christmas" thing, with a build up to Epiphany on January 6th, and let them celebrate on Orthodox Christmas instead. They were thrilled to hear it, and rushed off to the mall to buy gifts for each other. With everything being on super sale today, they found some great bargains.

The dolls are standing on top of a wooden fence section which is on the edge of the parking lot by the street. Cars standing waiting at the traffic light on the street behind me may have been staring, but I never looked to check. The whole trick to shooting in public is to try ignore passersby. And I don't wear my glasses - my camera has auto-focus. I tell myself that if I can't see anyone, then they can't see me either.

I love your trick of simply 'blanking' everyone! LOL! Comments are closed.
