One of our favourite drives in Newfoundland is the winding road out from Corner Brook along the south side of Humber Arm to Bottle Cove. Captain Cook explored this area back in the 1760's.... We came across a boat there, so Rex and Bianca could explore it as well.... ...and like usual, it was very windy....

They really do look like they're aboard a large ship. You have some great photos to put together a wonderful adventure story for them!

There was a 'ship-like' seat along one of the trails out to the lookout. Jan came across it, since he took a different route out than I did. On the way back to the RV he said I needed to come look at it, since it looked suitable for doll photos to him. It did work well, but could have used some more 'rigging'.

These photos of Rex and Bianca have really been too gorgeous. I’ve loved every single shot you’ve posted, including those taken by Jan. Tell him we’ve enjoyed seeing his photography skills in action too!

Thank you! I'm glad you have enjoyed them. I was really pleased with how so many of the photos turned out. There's still lots more to come. I didn't realize at the time just how many I'd taken.

What great photos. It absolutely looks like they are on a boat. In fact, I had to read the narrative a second time to learn that they were not.

Well, it was sort of a 'boat', or least meant to represent one. Definitely easier that trying to take photos in a real on in water.
