After many months of work, my Fantasy Fashions book was finally finished, and the first copy was printed. It is a magnificent book...

At 152 pages it is my biggest book so far. It features photos of every fantasy and historical BJD doll costume I've made. That's 256 photos of 267 doll costumes. It's quite the record, not only of all the doll costumes I've made over the years, but also of some of the best photos taken of them.

Unfortunately this book will not be offered up as a preorder. We've been having some minor issues with the printing of just this particular format of book, and with it costing $190. when ordered during one of their rare 50% off sales, I feel it's just too big a risk. I don't need the stress.
Which is unfortunate since it is a magnificent book.

However, I still have a few other books available...

That’s a shame that the printing won’t work for your Fantasy Fashion book. It looks magnificent. Congratulations!

Yes, it's a gorgeous book, and it's unfortunate that at this time I can't offer it. But it might be possible at some later date.

Me too. I've been sharing quite a few pages from the book over the past few months, especially each time I took photos of new costumes specially for it.

Back when we finally decided on the direction to go with this book, I decided that I still had a few costumes that I really wanted to make to include in it. Those included The Phantom Red Death, Elf Agnes' gown, and Matias ' knight outfit, and then St. Nicholas and Lawrence in full royal regalia. There were also several other photos taken specially for the book.

Anyways, here's hoping that at some point it becomes available.

The book looks magnificent. Could you please consider selling its electronic version? I believe that many of us would like to purchase it just to view it on the computer.

The book is magnificent.

Sorry, but we would not consider selling the electronic version, since there's nothing preventing anyone from sending it off to every one of their friends. With just one click of a button it would get forwarded fro possibly hundreds of others for free, and then they can all forward it to even more people.

The book looks wonderful! It is a shame that there are issues with its printing. Maybe there is another printer or publisher that could be approached? Your books are so beautiful and you and your sister have put so much work into to preparing them!

Marianne has checked out other printers, but Mixbook is by far the best one, providing the best quality books (and calendars) at the best prices. It's just that in the past year most of the portrait format books (vertical format) have had issues. So we have someone looking into helping Mixbook fix the problem, and in the meantime the new books will all be landscape format (horizontal).
