Boating on the Bay

One evening on the weekend, after it had cooled down a little from the day's heat,
Owen took the boat to Frenchmen's Bay for a little paddle....

This is just so evocative and so amazing, I am almost lost for words......wow!
You take modern themed photoshoots with just as much skill as you take the fantasy ones.
I am in so much awe and admiration of your talent! Thank you so much for sharing your doll play.

And did Jan make the boat for you? It is a wonderful prop

Modern themed photos are actually a lot easier - once I got past (mostly) of taking photos in public.

I found that boat - which is a miniature wooden dinghy - in a gift shop on a trip to the Maritimes quite a few years ago. At the time, our doll club (which no longer exists) was having a "water" challenge, and I was visualizing making an old fisherman who just caught a mermaid. But in the end I just seemed like too much work, so now my dolls have a boat.
