After dinner, everyone bundles up and heads outside for a walk in the snow.
Mama: "It's so lovely out here with the snow softly falling."
Picture
Oma: "Looks like your little ones are falling asleep. Better take Mina and Anika in and put them to bed. I'll bring Hendrik."
Picture
Oma:"There...... all tucked in. Better go see what those two men are up to and find them something useful to do."

The fellas continue to enjoy their walk.
Opa: "How do you think she gets such a variety of mushrooms...."
Papa: "Did you hear that? Someone's calling"
Opa : "Sounds like work for us, Son"

Having been asked to hang up the stockings, Papa and Opa get to work.

Papa: "Pass me up another one!"
Picture
"hmmm.....hope something good shows up in these socks"

The family gathers around for some Christmas carolling at the end the day.

The sounds from all the boisterous singing and celebrating has woken up the little ones.

That pig is so perfect at the piano! I love it!

I was just having some fun with him, since he's stuck in that semi-seated pose.

Oh my goodness, I love this story! I echo Elizabeth; I love Pieter at the piano. I also like that they had to stand on a ladder and a barrel to hang the stockings.

Thanks! It's so funny because I have to use existing props I have on hand, and these gnomes are very small. That fireplace towers over them.

I was just having fun taking photos, thinking of some kind of basic story-line, but then my sister takes the photos, and not necessarily in the order I shot them, and puts them together into her version - which is I what I'm re-posting here.

The whole thing is in Favourite Photos 2019, and I'm trying to keep it up to date by posting what's going on here.

I think you and your sister are having a lot of fun with these wee folks! And so are all of us who get to enjoy the photos and story!

I have been having fun taking all the photos, and hope to wrap it up soon, so I can get back to my own things.

However, the story will continue for a little while still, since I'm only posting here what my sister posts on Facebook, and she's making the most of it by not posting too much each day.

I'm also posting the whole story in Favourite Photos 2019, so it will appear consecutively if anyone ever wants to go back to it.
